Godwin founded Nella Finance AI Ltd to close a gap he had watched for two decades: small businesses receive their numbers long after the decisions those numbers should have informed. Statutory accounts arrive months after the year end. By then the pricing call, the hiring call and the cash call have all been made on instinct.
He trained with PwC and went on to hold senior finance leadership positions across technology and service businesses, where the reporting he had access to was a different order of thing entirely — current, queryable, and available the moment a question came up. Nella exists to make that ordinary for a business of five people rather than five thousand.
He holds the ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is a member of the Institute of Certified Practising Accountants. He also runs AccTek Ltd, the accountancy practice that provides regulated accounting and advisory services separately from the Nella software.
