The connection is read-only by design, so there is a fixed list of things Nella cannot do in Claude — not as a setting you could change, but because the permission is never requested.

Is the Claude connector included on the free plan?

Does Claude get access to my accounting software?
No. The connector talks to Nella, not to your ledger. Nella holds the read-only connection and answers from it, so your accounting software is never exposed directly.
Can it change anything in my books?
No. The connection to your accounting software is read-only on every channel.
How is this different from just asking Claude about accounting?
Without the connector, Claude answers from general knowledge and has never seen your figures. With it, answers come from your own live ledger.
Does Nella give tax advice in Claude?
